An initiative developed in partnership with Muslim student societies at universities
around Scotland, it aims to give students a greater appreciation of the blessed
prophetic biography by relating the historical events to the issues faced day by day
on campus and beyond.
It has been successfully hosted at Glasgow, Edinburgh,
Dundee, Strathclyde, and Caledonian Universities with excellent comments from
attendees.

Catering for the specific needs of Muslim students on campus, this new and
exciting series is the perfect opportunity to access, discuss and delve into issues of
politics, society and religion. As can be testified by attendees, be prepared for an
enlightening and inspiring experience.
Have you ever thought that the Prophet Muhammed (May Allah bless him and
grant him peace) would do in this age?... How would he deal with the issues young
people are facing today?
These sessions will each week take us through a section of the life of the Prophet
Muhammed and will show how is life is of relevance to us today. See how problems
and challenges he (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) and the early muslim
community faced are not far removed from those that we face today.
Some topics include:
• Spirituality, religion and modern student life.
• Family, companionship and friends.
• Citizenship and belonging.
• Relations with people of other faiths.
• Gender relations.
• Islamaphobia
These are just a few thought provoking issues that are be dealt with in these
discussion base sessions. Come along and take part. Get involved in discussions.
